I would like to introduce myself as Kit Manager for Mini’s and Youth’s 2011/2012, having taken over from Jane Brown.

For the forthcoming season the whole club have moved to a new kit supplier called Serious Stuff. Serious Stuff have developed an updated kit for both Men/Women/Youths/Minis sections of the club with the same shirt/short/sock designs, so now for the first time, all the rugby sections of WRFC will look like they come from the same club!

To purchase the new kit (which is not mandatory) either buy at the Club on certain training session days or via their website as follows:

To enter the WRFC page use the passcode 1865 (the year the club was established). Note that purchases through the website will incur a delivery charge to a home address, and at present a purchase on the website cannot be delivered to the club. Using Serious Stuff has the advantage that they will now hold all the stock for the club so hopefully we should not run out of anything. It also has a financial benefit for the club in that we are not paying in advance for stock.

The site is being updated daily at present as new stock arrives and will include not just playing kit but also leisure kit for parents/coaches/supporters. The site is for the whole club including adults and junior sizes, so select with care. The site also states that you can have your own names/number/initials included on the back of the shirts for an extra cost. At present we have no club preference for personalisation or not, it’s up to you!

Serious Stuff will be at the Clubhouse on Sunday 4th September, 11th and 25th September. They will be at the club before training starts if coaches and children are keen to see/buy the new kit before playing. Thereafter we will arrange for them to be at the Clubhouse approximately once every 3/4 weeks. A selection of gum shields will also be available.

Early feedback on the design has been very positive but I would welcome other feedback on playability, colour fastness etc.
