U13B's V Rosslyn Park U13B Home Won 49:0

Another comprehensive victory however this was against 14 players which does detract a little from the glory. We cannot afford to be complacent with Kingston putting a good win over Farnham who in turn have beaten Old Alleynians quite comfortably.

Our forwards dominated, reacting quickly and driving the mauls and scrums very effectively. Sam Hallala and Xander Billie-Hardy in particular impressed in the first half and won commendation trophies. The forwards gave a great platform for the backs to run in seven tries although Luke Harvey-Smith contributed by stripping the ball and breaking through for two forward tries.

The support play was impressive and one area in which we are starting to improve is in communication between players and this will improve team play hugely.

Our backs made some superb line breaks but would have been even more effective if they stood steeper to run on to the ball at pace. We were also not coming up as a line and against better backs would have been made to pay for this lack of organisation. Back of the Match was Luke Young who passed well, got into good positions and made a break on the outside after quick rucked ball and excellent passing down the line to round off a real team try!

Other players that had particularly good matches were Thomas King, James Anderson and Ben Casling (especially for excellent throw ins) in the forwards and Rory Page, Cieran Hoban and Seb Elledge in the backs
