On Saturday the 28th January we had two teams go down to the Stoop to participate in the Curtain Raiser Cup organised by Harlequins RFC.

Both teams performed very well on the day with our "A" side qualifying for the Semi-Finals to be held on the 18th Feb.
The other team scored fanstastic tries however they lacked conviction when it came to tagging and as a result lost their games by one or two tries.

Results were as follows:
A-Team - Wimbledon scores first:
v Chobham - Won 6-1
v Canterbury - Won 4-3
v Pulborough - Won 5-0
v Edenbridge - Won 8-1

B/ C Team - Wimbledon scores first:
v Reeds - Lost 3-4
v Rosslyn Park - Lost 4-6
v Battersea Ironsides - Drew 4-4

Congrates to the A-team and better luck next time to the other team, I am sure that you will come back 'set the record straight' on the 11th Feb!
