Welcome to the new season!

Firstly I would like to announce the excellent signing of Neil Barnett to the Grounds Team. Neil coaches with the Minis and will monitor the use of space on Drax (amongst other things!) so we can keep the best allocation per age group/numbers etc.

Please find attached a pitchplan for Sunday and also a blank plan. Please save this so it is easy to understand the pitch allocations when posted on the website.

We have an ever changing and advancing club and for this coming season there are many outside demands on the fields. For this reason we shall be trying to rest the two floodlit areas as much as possible (M2 & T1). If you are allocated on these areas please take special care not to over drill an area (that should go for all areas) as it is easy just to keep moving a few feet to the side instead of ruining the ground. Please keep your coaches advised on this. Additionally, if either of these spaces are left vacant it doesn't mean they are up for grabs!

The first couple of Sundays are very busy until the fixtures kick in so we shall be changing pitch allocations depending on the requirement on the day. We are trying the U6s & U7s on the top of Drax again (D4) and will see how the numbers are across the age groups; so this plan does not mean you are there for the whole season!

No matter which age group, please do not confirm any new fixtures without checking availability, to avoid disappointment on the day!
