Season starts 2nd September

The season starts this Sunday 2nd September for all minis groups and most youth groups (consult your age group pages or manager). Normal time: 10 to 12, remember that registration will be taking place so bring along completed forms if you can. These are available to download here

2012/13 Season

Sadly Wimbledon Mini and Youth section has to follow convention and close down during the summer. There's plenty of work going on down at the club though and we'll be ready for another fun packed and successful season in September. As usual we'll be back in action on the first Sunday in September so keep up the summer training and I'll see you then.

Wimbledon RFC is signed up to England Rugby Kids First scheme. It's a strong commitment to helping kids love rugby for as long as possible so they can grown from mini rugby, into youth rugby, and hopefully, into our senior teams.


Part of the Kids First pledge is a commitment to following the RFU's Age Grade Rugby codes of practice.

Snow Games

Well after the wonderful dispaly of what can be achieved on a snowy pitch last week, particualrly by the U9s &15Bs I expected a good turnout again today despite the fact we'd had to put off our visitors. In the event only the fighting 13s made any significant effort to brave the elements so well done to Big Al and his merry band and see you all next week whatever the weather, after all it is not as if we live in the frozen hinterlands of France is it!
