Wimbledon RFC is proud to run one of Surrey's most popular minis rugby festivals for Under 7s to Under 11s. We've been running these festivals for over a decade now and host an Autumn and Spring festival each season. Our Spring 2025 festival saw 15 different clubs bring 140+ teams to our festival!
The next Wimbledon RFC minis rugby festivals will be the Autumn festival on Sunday 5 October 2025 and the Spring festival which will run on Sunday 8 March 2026.

Welcome to the Autumn 2025 Wimbledon RFC Minis Rugby Festival - Sunday 5 October
David Pack, Minis Chair: Welcome everybody to Wimbledon RFC for another exciting tournament. To the visiting clubs thank you for continuing to support this tournament and the club. My congratulations to England in yet another closely fought final, the result was never in doubt. The quality of rugby in this year's tournament has been exceptional and to think Canada had to crowdfund their campaign to the final in front of the largest ever crowd. Rugby is a game for all and that is at the heart of everything we do at Wimbledon.
I’d like to extend a massive thank you to everybody behind the scenes who helped to make this tournament happen; far too many to name each and every person. Being new to the role, every day is a school day; whether I’ve forgotten to blow up the balls or who looks after cakes, there is always someone to take care of it or point me in the right direction.
Lastly, I’d like to remind everybody no matter the highs or the lows, whenever you’re in need to improve your scrum technique or pick you up after a bad game, someone from the rugby community has got your back, never be too proud or too embarrassed to ask for help. Always be ready to offer to lend a hand. We are a community and a family like no other sport. We break down boundaries and we challenge the people around us to be better. Enjoy the day, keep smiling and bask in the hospitality of WRFC.

Proper-size pitches and pitch marshalls
We have always prided ourselves on using proper-sized pitches and having volunteers act as pitch marshalls to ensure our festivals run on time. We provide new balls, medals for the younger groups and TREDS trophies for the older teams. Crucially, we use Tournify so it's easy to see who is playing where and when. We welcome touring teams
Each year more and more travelling clubs come to our festivals. In 2025 we welcomed Athy (Ireland) and Voorburg (Netherlands). Get in touch to book your slot at our festivals.
